Tamil hero Vishal has good market in Telugu right from the days of 
Pandem Kodi. He has been giving Telugu audience mass movies with a 
difference from a long time. With Rayudu he returns to out and out mass 
after a long time and different scripts. While many might not know 
Mutthaiah in Telugu, he has given a big success in Tamil with his last 
outing and now he combines with Vishal to continue the success. Let us 
now get into the review.
Story:
Rolex Bachi (RK Suresh) works under Bhairavudu (Radha Ravi) as soon 
with the ambition of becoming a politician on day. However his ambition 
has a threat due to a person related to Bhagya Lakshmi (Sri Divya). 
While this is happening Rayudu (Vishal) loves Bhagya Lakshmi (Sri Divya)
 because her grandmother thinks she is a perfect match. What happens 
when Rayudu and Rolex Bachi come against each other and how it all ends 
is the basic story of the film?
Performances:
Vishal once again is in fine form. He gets into the skin of a new 
character and does an outstanding job. The actor has been doing roles 
like this from the past few films in different backdrops and nailing 
them with ease. Here too it’s no different and he carries the role 
effortlessly be it emotionally or comically.
Sri Divya is a given a tough role and she nails it perfectly. The 
dubbing in Telugu is a great asset for the part and it goes with her 
character in the film.
Soori has played a similar role in many other films of Vishal and the
 camaraderie between the two can be felt instantaneously. Apart from him
 veteran actress Leela gets a very important role and she delivers the 
requirement with great ease.
RK Suresh plays the role of baddie with great ease. An example of his
 good performance can be gauged from the fact that one starts to hate 
him very much by the end of the movie.
Other actors are aptly cast in this commercial entertainer based on the scope they provide.

Analysis:
Director Muthuramaiah has handled a simple plot with great care. He 
makes sure that the emotional angle is present till the end. Even though
 this is a mass film, there are no fights for the sake of fights and 
they come whenever they are necessary.
First half of the film flows smoothly with good twists and turns, 
keeping the audience engaged. It is in the second half that the film 
gets streamlined into a straight up mass masala movie with all its 
predictability. One knows what is going to happen eventually but still 
the director manages t keep us hooked which is the biggest success of 
the film.
Music by D Imman is good and so is background score. Cinematography 
by Velraj is fabulous. Editing by LK Praveen is fine. The film should 
have been a little shorter but it’s alright. Production values that are 
true to the story of the film are good.
